i’ve been carrying this heaviness
it’s been maybe a year, feels like five and none
suffocating in the darkness
and by the time i’m out, how much of me will be gone?

the quiet sound of nothing reminds me
that time can never be withdrawn
every day feels the same, no matter what i do
just repeating over, over again

Never happy never sad
After a while its all i have
To hold on to those days when
I walked down a solid path
Now life feels like a ferris wheel
When i make it up
It seems all downhill
But at least for a moment now
I see it all above the clouds

i find myself going through old memories
only to realize it was a different reality
i feel like i'm always holding on by a strand
and when i let go i'll have nowhere to land

there’s a shake in my hands and a weight in my chest
and i don’t think i can drop it
all i can do is cling to life
and hope i can come out on top of it
